EXCHANGE CLUB GOLF TOURNAMENT 

Attention Excel Club members!! Volunteers are needed for the Exchange Club Golf Tournament at Chippanee Golf Club in Bristol on Monday June 26th. You can sign up for a shift of a couple hours or do the complete day from 9:00am – 5:00pm. Meals are included. It’s a fun event and we run our own putting contest fundraiser, too. See Mrs. Devaney in Room B115 as soon as possible.


ACADEMIC AWARDS CEREMONY 

We will hold the Academic Award Ceremony during Discovery this Thursday, May 25th, in the auditorium. Only students receiving awards will be allowed to attend this presentation. Students are asked to review the list of names on the bulletin board next to the nurse’s office. Any questions please see Mr. MacKay.


SENIOR PROM 

Attention Seniors- There will be no more table or date changes allowed for the senior prom. Everything has been finalized and the bill paid to the Aquaturf. Seniors are reminded that the prom starts at 6 pm and ends at 11 pm.


COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

• Volunteers needed to help with the Relay for life fundraiser Saturday, June 3rd from 8am-10pm at Frisbie School. Please sign up in the Career Center to volunteer. 

• Approximately 30-40 volunteers are needed for the Ben Was Here 5k Race fundraiser on Sunday, June 4th at the recreational area across from Scovill’s beach. Help with set up, clean up arts and crafts, kids fun run, and bounce house is needed from 6am-1pm. Please sign up in the career center to volunteer. 

• Farmingbury Hills Golf course is looking for volunteers. Contact, Course Pro, Craig Kealey (203) 879-8038 for information.


RELAY FOR LIFE 

There will be a Relay for Life Meeting today after school. All members should attend.


NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY 

There will be a National Honor Society meeting on June 1st after school for all new inductees.


STUDENT GOVERNMENT ELECTION RESULTS 

The election results for next year’s student government are in! Results for discovery elections and faculty elections have been posted outside Mr. Balanda’s room (C237). There will be a meeting for all NEWLY elected student government representatives during Discovery in the Lecture Hall on June 1st; during this meeting we will elect leadership positions for next year. All newly elected representatives interested in running for a leadership position in the student government should see Mr. Balanda in room C237 by next Wednesday.
